Cold, Quiet, Soft and Deep
Frozen worlds falling from Heaven
an icy land we cannot see
but float through, longing to touch
never can hold long enough in our hands
these lands, pinnicles and peaks
icy castles each unique
no kings or queens
no subjects to behold their beauty
just us clumsy giants
we shovel, and mold
and wish they would disapear
pile it all in a lump, brush them away
they encase our land in a strange time laspse
where things beneath slowly sleep
regenerate their decay
and wait silently
till one day the worlds will begin to dissolve and melt
each into the other, now all the same
standing rain
giving life to those beneath, once again.
