This blog is dedicated to the shaggy dogs who live across the alley from Myhre's Music, never have I seen such hairy beast's that just were so content just being -- not even aware that they were drowning in thier hair....
I had a revelation today
recent discovery
my body is not mine
not even a bit
it's on loan
as is my spirit
but is one more important than the other??
I used to think that
my body will die one day
we grow old and decay
but that is no excuse
i realize now
to change or abuse
ourselves is wrong
no one's alike -- ever guess why?
our body's just as impressionable
it's the outward reflection
of our inside selves...
we don't have the power nor the right to change it

and even though it will decay and die
and we're not attached because we know we're alive inside
i need to respect my maker
and honor him,
by honoring the vessel I'm in

ya i'm definitely starting to realize this too... i guess it's a humbling thing, one that makes us truly respect our Maker and trust that He may have known what He was doing when He made us. still, it's hard... :) thanks for being such a good friend to me. em.
