Today

will I trust

will I obey

will I stand upon

the mighty rock

cling tight

not get shaken off

will I not get scared

when my ground gives way

when there's 'not enough'

when I move away

will I surrender

all, everything I am

stare deep inside my heart

and offer all I can

it's just me

imperfect

unclean

and in dis-repair

but you reach out

your nail scarred hand

and catch

all my tears

oh, these fears

will they never fade?

never leave my heart alone

escape into the night

how I wish they would go

but I think they stay

so I can love

and trust you more
